Anneliese Hamilton-Stevens

F.I.S.T.D and RAD Registered Teacher

ISTD Tutor, RAD CBTS mentor and UK National Freelance Adjudicator

Senior College Tutor; Ballet, Tap, Modern

Anneliese has taught children and students for many years across the North-West of England and is currently principal of her own school Hamilton Dance in Maghull, Liverpool. Her past students are performing across the dance genres in Musical Theatre, commercially for various music artists and on cruise ships around the world.

Anneliese was trained at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre under the guidance of Gaynor Owen and Jean Brenda Johnson and graduated with ISTD teaching qualifications in Ballet, Modern, Tap and National and the RAD Teaching Certificate in Ballet. A performing career throughout the UK and Europe proved to be enjoyable but Anneliese’s true passion for teaching prevailed and she returned to Merseyside where she taught for several dancing schools before accepting a place on the faculty at MDDC where she stayed for 12 years.

Having achieved Fellowship status with the ISTD she is committed to keeping up to date with new techniques and ideas and is committed to a programme of CPD. Anneliese is now a member of the faculty at North Liverpool Dance Academy where she is an ISTD tutor and is an RAD approved mentor for the CBTS programme. She enjoys teaching all ages from the tiny pre-schoolers to the Advanced standard students and has recently commenced Licentiate coaching which is proving extremely rewarding as she helps the more experienced teacher’s develop their teaching qualifications further.
