Jacqui Richards

Ballet Teacher

My childhood training began with RAD grades as a pupil of Cynthia Hancock, In addition I become a “Saturday” girl at The Hammond School and attended Mary Archbutt School  in Altrincham where I also took up Tap and Modern lessons for the first time working  to Intermediate levels in all genres.

I later after gaining Advanced  Vocational grades began teacher training with the RAD and ISTD  at Merseyside Dance and Drama Centre gaining Associates in Imperial Ballet and Modern Theatre, and RAD teachers qualifications in the Children’s and Vocational Syllabus.

After opening my own school I continued to study to gain my Associate Diploma, Licentiate Assesment, and more recently the Diploma in Dance Pedagogy in Classical Ballet.Throughout my career and the growth of my own School and its valuable team, my passion has remained Teaching.

Teaching Children students and more recently supporting other Teachers is what I enjoy, I continue my own love of learning and currently aim to work towards a Fellowship or Masters qualification in Ballet .
